Unified cloud model offers hybrid services for schools

When moving to the cloud, some school districts, including Indianapolis Public Schools, are opting for the "unified cloud" strategy, in which private- and public-cloud services allow Internet-based access to items such as e-mail, applications, files and reports. Those using the service tout its flexibility, allowing students, teachers and others to access various resources from school, home or on-the-go, and making bring-your-own-device programs easier to launch.
