Weather Channel's refresh boasts new video, narrative reports

The Weather Channel's revised application provides more personalization and live tiles for monitoring current conditions and new video feeds, Chantal Tode writes. "The biggest improvement is a new rain start/stop tab that appears when rain or snow is expected during the next six hours, with a narrative description of weather conditions, i.e. 'expect rain until 5 p.m.,' or 'snow starting at 9:15 a.m.,'" Weather Channel's Nico Du Plessis says.
