Report: IMF boosts forecast for global economic growth this year

The International Monetary Fund upgraded its 2010 economic-growth projection for the world and the U.S., Italian news agency ANSA reported. The latest draft of the IMF's World Economic Outlook shows 4.1% growth for the world economy, an increase of 0.2 percentage point from its previous estimate. The IMF projected that the U.S. economy will grow 3%, compared with the 2.7% it forecast in January, according to the news agency.
