First legal challenges to Net neutrality fail to pass muster

A federal appeals court has dismissed separate lawsuits by Verizon Wireless and MetroPCS that challenged the Federal Communications Commission's proposed Net neutrality regulations on the grounds that lawyers for the companies failed to follow procedural guidelines, but the judges chose not to comment on the legality of the rule itself.
