College can be a stressful time for students, according to experts who point to academics, social issues, changes in sleeping and eating habits, and other causes. Even deciding where to go to college can place extra stress on students. However, there are ways to combat stress, experts say. Some recommendations include leaving the stressful situation, avoiding unhealthy friendships, avoiding sugar and energy drinks, getting regular exercise and engaging in constructive thinking.
