Boeing readies battery-repair kits for 787

Boeing plans to send airlines kits to repair the 787 batteries, although the aircraft manufacturer is still awaiting government approval for the fix. Boeing spokesman Marc Birtel said the company has not shipped the kits yet, but "one of the teams has already deployed but will not perform battery work until the solutions are certified."
