Employees want to better understand benefits, survey suggests

A new survey find employees have strong feelings about their understanding of benefits, with 73% saying it's very important that they understand the offerings and 98% saying it is somewhat important. More employees are seeking to better understand their employer benefits and respondents indicated interest in regular benefits updates and being able to talk with a benefits expert. Less than two-thirds of respondents rated their benefits communication as fairly effective.
