Executives need to find ways to frame their CSR initiatives in ways that make sense to investors, says Erika Karp, managing director of UBS Investment Bank. Investors might not care about green issues qua green issues, but they do care about sustainability-related topics such as "succession planning, regulatory compliance and energy efficiency," Karp says.
