Proposal would determine scope of federal financial reports

The Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board has proposed standards that would create criteria regarding which organizations should be included in the federal government's financial reports. A concepts document issued in 1995 currently is used to decide which organizations are included in the government-wide general purpose federal financial report.
