Psoriasis tied to risk of Crohn's in women, study shows

Women with psoriasis, and especially those with psoriatic arthritis, are at higher risk for Crohn's disease but not ulcerative colitis, according to data from the Nurses' Health Study. Additional risk factors included receiving a psoriasis diagnosis before age 40 and having the condition for at least 10 years, researchers said.
