Startups provide data services to corporate clients

Startups like ShareVault, which launched in 2006, are providing virtual storage space that can allow corporate clients to store, share and manage large files. "The digitization of business information is a massive trend, and documents are core to the way that businesses, and professionals in business, communicate," said Richard Andersen, the company's CEO. In total, the virtual data room industry generated $600 million in revenue last year, and by 2017, that figure is expected to increase to $1.2 trillion.
