Candidates should focus on results and transferable skills when applying for jobs that may require more experience than they have, career coach Rebecca Thorman writes in this blog post. "Try identifying two to three key stories -- a high-revenue marketing campaign or how you solved a dispute with a client, for example -- and rehearse explaining the key behaviors, milestones, challenges and outcomes," Thorman advises.
