DuPont joins other firms in advocating recycling of health care plastics

Eight companies, including DuPont, Engineered Plastics, Johnson & Johnson and Kimberly-Clark have formed the Healthcare Plastics Recycling Council. The companies are "seeking to inspire and enable sustainable, cost effective recycling solutions for plastic products and materials used in the delivery of health care," according to the group. The group is participating in three recycling projects and an initiative seeking recycling guidelines for the designing of various plastic products.
