TEPCO: Workers stop radioactive water leaks at Fukushima Daiichi

Engineers have stopped radioactive water flowing from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant, according to Tokyo Electric Power, the facility's operator. But the contaminated water still needs to be discharged into the sea because there is insufficient storage at the plant, TEPCO said. "The leaks were slowed yesterday after we injected a mixture of liquid glass and a hardening agent, and it has now stopped," a TEPCO spokesman said.
