The furor over an elephant-hunt video posted by GoDaddy.com founder Bob Parsons shows the pitfalls of failing to properly focus your social media efforts, according to brand strategist Jonathan Salem Baskin. Sales -- not engagement -- is the ultimate goal, Baskin says, so personal antics that don't contribute to higher sales may be self-defeating.
