AGC reports dismal construction market; job losses abound

Regions in states such as Minnesota and Hawaii showed continued losses in construction jobs in February, according to the Associated General Contractors of America. Just 10 of 337 U.S. metro areas added jobs over the year-long period. "In virtually every area, construction workers continued to suffer the brunt of the recession," said Ken Simonson, AGC's chief economist.
