Study finds weak link between EHR adoption and patient care quality

A study of more than 2,900 hospitals showed that use of electronic health records did not lead to significant improvements in efficiency or certain measures of patient care quality. However, the study found that computerized physician order-entry system availability resulted in somewhat improved results.
