European Parliament postpones vote on Emir to May 24

The European Parliament's economic committee was scheduled to vote on the European Market Infrastructure Regulation on April 20 but delayed the vote until May 24. A decision on Emir could have a significant effect on the derivatives market. The vote was rescheduled "to have more time for discussion," an insider said.
