Strawberries may protect against esophageal cancer

A small study of Chinese adults with mild to moderate dysplasia in the esophagus found that 29 of 36 of those who consumed 60 grams of freeze-dried strawberries daily for six months experienced a slowdown in the growth of the lesion. The lead researcher said larger trials are needed to confirm the findings.
