Clarins, Macy's and Feed Projects are collaborating to bring a charitable angle to a 10-day "gift-with-purchase" promotional sale. Cosmetics buyers during the promotion will get typical trial items and Lauren Bush Lauren's Feed Projects organization will direct a donation to an antihunger group for each purchase. "We know consumers love giving back, and the core of our customer base is women, and a lot of them have children or will have children," says Jonathan Zrihen, president of Clarins Group North America. Macy's will provide most of the advertising for the project, writes Andrew Adam Newman.
