Hagel calls for "big choices" on Pentagon budget

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is calling for "big choices" on the military budget, proposing structural cuts that could include closing bases and reducing medical coverage for retirees. "The biggest long-term fiscal challenge facing the department is not the flat or declining top-line budget, it is the growing imbalance in where that money is being spent internally," Hagel said.
