Health care industry sees drop in employment growth

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that the health care industry generated 6,900 fewer jobs in March than February, but the number of jobs added by the industry -- 23,400 -- was close to the 12-month average. According to the report, hospitals added 7,900 employees in March, down from 10,700 the previous month, while ambulatory services added 15,300, up from 11,400.
