Students, lawmakers ask tougher questions about loan debt

Although university officials say more students are asking questions about future loan obligations, some lawmakers still want to take action to stem the increase in student loan debt. Rep. Karen Bass, D-Calif., has introduced a bill that would let those with $45,000 or less in federal student loans and a 10-year record of repayment have those loans forgiven.
