Wyo. elementary-school students could learn in English, Spanish

A Wyoming school district may in 2014 launch an elementary-school language-immersion program in which students would learn for half the day in Spanish and half the day in English. The program, being considered today at a board of trustees meeting, initially was expected to start earlier, but officials now say that the longer timeline will give them additional opportunity to align the curriculum, hire teachers and make other preparations.
