Expert shares tips for making cats' veterinary visits more pleasant

AVMA says cats are less likely than dogs to be brought in for a veterinarian visit, which may be partly attributable to cats' especially adverse reactions to the process of being transported and exposure to new surroundings. Make visits more comfortable for cats, by taking various steps, including furnishing their carriers with toys and towels sprayed with pheromone products, an animal behavior expert advises.
