Research explores yoga's psychological effects in teens

A 10-week study in the Journal of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics showed that junior and senior high-school students who participated in yoga classes fared better in psychological tests than those in regular physical-education classes. Students who took regular PE classes were more prone to mood problems or anxiety and had more negative emotions than those who took yoga, researchers said.
