200 organizations partner in Rally for Medical Research

Nearly 200 groups from the medical research community were involved in the Rally For Medical Research, held at the American Association for Cancer Research's annual conference, to urge Congress to restore medical research funding. "Basic science is key to economic well-being and scientific advances," said Rockefeller University President Marc Trevor Tessier-Lavigne, a neuroscientist and former chief scientific officer at Genentech.
