6 Americans killed in Afghanistan

Five Americans in southern Afghanistan, including three service members and a civilian contractor, were killed Saturday in a bomb attack. In a separate incident, a battle involving Afghan forces and the Taliban resulted in the deaths of approximately 20 civilians, including 11 Afghan children and an American civilian adviser.
