China's Tencent denies likelihood of chat fees

Despite its heavy use of bandwidth, China's Tencent says charges for its mobile chat service are probably not forthcoming. The company's CEO, Liu Chiping, denied that any such move was being contemplated after a government minister said pressure from telecom companies might lead to such fees.
