Construction Career Day invites students to put on their hard hats

Hundreds of Oregon high-school students will have access to hands-on experience with heavy equipment, brick and mortar and other construction tools during Construction Career Day held at the Salem Municipal Airport. "It provides students with a broad view of the construction field," said Janai Hill of the Salem Contractors Exchange. "We have three different areas -- a heavy equipment area, hands-on construction activities area and informational area."
