DNA system quickens genetic research

Standard components used in DNA engineering have been put into an easy-to-use format that should allow genetic engineers to step up their efficiency. The system developed by U.K.-based Oxford Genetics is likened to "Lego for DNA" as it "really allows you to make very complicated DNA research tools in quite a short amount of time," said Ryan Cawood, managing director of Oxford Genetics.
