Feds: Stop posting business data on Web, social sites

A security breach by "spearphishers" at energy companies is prompting the Department of Homeland Security to advise companies to avoid posting business and personal data on public websites and social media networks. "Publicly [accessible] information commonly found on social media, as well as professional organization and industry conference Web sites is a recognized resource for attackers performing reconnaissance activities," the DHS said in an alert.
