How salespeople are using LinkedIn

Eighty percent of salespeople interviewed for a recent study reported using LinkedIn in some capacity, Steve Martin writes. The most enthusiastic LinkedIn users had an average of 700 contacts and used the social network for reaching out to possible leads. Casual LinkedIn users were more likely to see the network as a research tool.
