Ill. city council might extend $600,000 loan payback

The Danville, Ill., City Council will consider extending the payback of a $600,000 loan that was taken out of the general fund in 2011 to complete a $2 million incentive package for a retail development. The money is supposed to come from a federal grant that the city has not yet received.
