An indirect way to sell to large organizations

Mike Silagadze and Mohsen Shahini, who founded educational company Top Hat Monocle in 2009, realized their classroom-engagement startup could wither if they waited for large universities to consider their product. Instead, they focused on selling directly to professors. The company has since grown to include 75 employees and has been able to attract 2,000 professors as clients.
