Lifeway is expanding its brand, CEO says

Lifeway Foods, maker of kefir products, expects revenue to jump some 30% in the first quarter compared with a year earlier, and says it now dominates the kefir market, controlling 97% of the category. It's been helped by the surge in popularity of tart Greek yogurt, a spokesperson said, because that's helped consumers accept the similar taste of kefir. The firm plans to expand its brand reach internationally and add frozen products in the U.K.
