Network titans join forces to push OpenDaylight ahead

Hewlett-Packard, VMware, Cisco Systems and a few other big tech titans, including Ericsson, are joining forces to advance the open-source software-defined networking OpenDaylight project, which is making its debut today. The focus is on building an SDN framework by collaborating on code and engineering work as well as establishing standards.
