Patient engagement tool developer uses index to rank hospitals

The Patient Engagement Index for the 74 leading hospitals in Florida has been launched by Axial Exchange. The index, which uses metrics such as patient health resources to evaluate the performance of providers, was designed to rank hospitals based on their efforts to enhance the involvement of patients in their own care. The company will release rankings of hospitals in other states in the coming months.
