Proposed N.H. law would clarify who battles bedbugs

A bill before the New Hampshire Senate would require landlords to take initial measures to rid properties of bedbug infestations, with cooperation from tenants. The bill would help low-income tenants who can't afford measures to eliminate the bugs, but it allows landlords to recoup the cost if tenants are found to be the cause of infestation. Bedbugs are a growing problem in New Hampshire's multifamily housing developments.
