Research identifies disparity in breast cancer mortality

Black women were twice as likely to die from breast cancer as white women regardless of the type of cancer they had, according to a study presented at a meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research. Researchers also found black women had a higher chance of being diagnosed with less treatable kinds of breast cancer than white women.
