Moderate drinking reduces heart problems in adults

A Harvard study found that drinking 30 grams of alcohol daily reduced the chance of heart disease by 42% for women around age 54, and 31% for men around age 50. However, researchers said the risk of heart disease in younger adults is so low that the benefits may not outweigh potential risks, such as an increased risk of cancer or car accidents.
