Calif. city council pulls manager from Wis.

The Simi Valley, Calif., City Council has voted unanimously to hire Eric Levitt as city manager, replacing Laura Behjan, who retired in February. Levitt, city manager of Janesville, Wis., will begin his new position next month. "I'm enthusiastic about the opportunity," he said. "Everything I've seen about Simi Valley is that it's a really good community."
