China is likely to seek more concessions from drugmakers

The Chinese government is likely to seek pricing concessions from drugmakers on expensive cancer medicines and might resort to compulsory licensing in some cases, former health minister Chen Zhu said. Annual spending on health care in China is expected to reach $1 trillion by 2020, according to a McKinsey & Co. analysis.
