IDC: Expect mobile to flirt with the $7 billion mark this year

The U.S. mobile ad market increased 55% last year to hit $4.5 billion and it should grow another 55% to 65% this year to reach $7 billion, according to an IDC report. "Where ad networks such as Google, Millennial Media and Apple once dominated mobile display, Facebook and other mobile-centric properties are now the category leaders," writes Mark Walsh.
