Japan to test floating offshore wind turbines

Japan's government is planning to test two floating offshore wind turbines in the summer as part of long-term efforts to broaden the nation's energy mix following the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident. The test is one of four planned for different turbine models to find the one best suited for a commercial-scale offshore wind farm.
