LGBT job protections are effective, researchers say

Rice University researchers have found that openly LGBT job applicants in jurisdictions with LGBT nondiscrimination ordinances experience less discrimination. "Bottom line: Legal protection, less discrimination," said Mikki Hebl, a professor of psychology at Rice University.
