A community in Harrisburg, N.C., is searching for answers after two men, including one who served as president of the neighborhood's HOA, were shot and killed by a neighbor. "Many have suspected the shooter was angry about a landscaping project," the family of victim Dan Kirchner said. "But we want to make it clear ... that simply is not the case. ... The men were in one accord in the matter, and the shooter took advantage of the work the HOA was having done to get work done on his property at a greatly [reduced] rate."
