A shopper at La Salada, Argentina's largest marketplace, received a shock after discovering that two toy poodles he'd bought for what he thought was a bargain were actually oversized and creatively groomed ferrets. The hoax was discovered when the man took the critters to his vet for routine shots. Officials say that market sellers are feeding ferrets steroids to increase their size, helping give them a puffed-up, poodle-like appearance.
