Adults over 50 more likely to get foodborne illnesses

People age 50 and older are more likely to get sick or die from foodborne illnesses, according to a new CDC report. Physicians had believed young children were most vulnerable but a review of 2008 data found hospitalization and death rates were higher for older adults.
