DeWind to supply wind turbines for project in Oklahoma Panhandle

Wind-turbine designer DeWind bought the rights to 160 megawatts of Novus Windpower's 370-MW wind project in the Oklahoma Panhandle region. DeWind, a division of Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering, expects to supply the project with 40 D9.2 wind turbines. Construction on the project's first stage could begin by mid-2011, with operation starting next year, DeWind said.
